2017 PNDU Award Winners announced!

We would like to congratulate the following winners announced at our Annual General Meeting today:

Professional Awards:
(judged again this year by Professors Gil Hardy and Patrick Ball)

  • Adult PN Professional of the Year:   Azmat Ali, Princess Alexandria Hospital, Brisbane
  • Paediatric PN Professional of the Year:  Katie Howard, Lady Cilento Children’s Hospital, Brisbane
  • Commitment to Patient Care – Company Employee of the Year:  Caroline Moussan, Baxter Healthcare, Sydney
  • Outstanding Achievement Award:  Kath Angstmann, Royal North Shore, Sydney

Lifetime Membership Award:
(judged by PNDU’s Management Committee, excluding the nominees)

Lifetime Achievement Award:
(bestowed by PNDU’s Management Committee, in Gil’s absence)
Prof Gil Hardy as a special award recognising his exceptional contribution throughout his career to various developments and advances in the field of Parenteral Nutrition.

Highly deserving winners!  Thank you all for your work and dedication on behalf of those living with HPN in Australia and New Zealand.  Thank you too to our Professional Awards judges and all those who nominated.

All winners have their names included on PNDU’s Roll of Honour on our Awards page; receive a special award certificate; and will be included in an article (with snippets from the nominations), along with runners-up, in the next edition of Dripline.  Lifetime Membership winners will also have their names engraved on PNDU’s Perpetual Trophy.
